The Guild
Wentz’s Guild is open to all members
The purpose of the Guild of Wentz’s United Church of Christ is to unite all members in Christian Fellowship, render loving service toward all and to develop an understanding of the work of the entire church and realize unity through deepening spiritual life. Some of the projects and activities the Guild has led include the annual Christmas Bazaar, Fastnacht dinners, senior scholarships, and mission luncheons. Our efforts support many benevolences throughout the year. We welcome your ideas, suggestions, and involvement to support our members and our community.

Why Did We Choose a Community Garden?
In celebration of Earth Day 2021, Wentz’s broke ground broke ground for its new Community Garden during our worship service on Sunday, April 18. “This is a special moment for Wentz’s,” shared Pastor Dale Davis during the special youth-led service. “This garden will produce much more than needed fruits and vegetables. It will do more than feed those in need. The garden, with all its colors, smells, sounds, and tastes will be more than our senses can take in. This community garden will be a source of hope, of faith, and strength. May all the seeds that are planted here grow in the rich soil of God’s love that is Wentz’s United Church of Christ.”
The Community Garden is located behind the Trolley Shed on the far right side of the church property. Stop by any time!
