Serving! Healing! Growing! Together! 2025

Greetings Beloveds,

All of us are dealing with uncertainty. We are tasked with making decisions about our future and those we care deeply about without a guarantee of success. Having faith during uncertainty and darkness when we can’t see 6 inches ahead can be challenging. It’s easy to question why bad things happen or to feel lost and alone when everything seems to be falling apart, or everywhere you turn, the answer is ‘no”. However, it’s crucial to remember that God has a plan for us during these times. God may not always fully reveal that plan to us but nonetheless expects us to have faith and trust that the spirit knows what is best. Amid the uncertainty, we can find solace in knowing that God is in control and will take care of us if we put our trust in Him.

Here is the key, trusting God in uncertain times requires us to let go of our need for control. We often want to have everything figured out and a clear plan. But the reality is we are limited in our understanding, and sometimes, things happen that we simply can’t comprehend. This is where faith comes in. Instead of trying to make sense of everything, we can turn to God and surrender our worries and fears. When we let go of our concerns and burdens, we will experience peace and find comfort in God being with us.

In my own experience, having faith during difficult and dark times has been a lifeline. Whether it was facing personal struggles or witnessing the suffering of others, I have seen the power of putting my trust in God. It’s not always easy, and I still have moments of doubt and uncertainty, but I have learned that the more I rely on God, the more I can weather any storm. Looking back, I can see how God has been faithful in His promises and has guided me through the most challenging seasons of my life. So even when I don’t understand, I choose to hold on to my faith and trust that God has a purpose and plan.

“Faith sees best in the dark” Soren Kierkegaard
