Rev’s Mid-Week Thought

Wednesday Greetings Wentz’s,

I am still filled with hope and love from Saturday’s Installation. The moment that has been replaying in my mind and heart was the prayer of consecration. Your willingness to come together and pray for me lifted my spirit beyond words of explanation. If we are to be successful, we must continue praying and loving each other unconditionally through Christ.

Divine love is unlimited and holds the transformative power to heal and strengthen us, the community, and the world around us. This understanding fills me with a deep sense of hope and reassurance. I pray it fills you, too. Recognizing that the love of God knows no bounds, let us be liberated from any doubts or self-imposed limitations that might hinder the pursuit of our dreams as a faith community and individually.

Go out into the deep water of your own mind and heart. We must realize that it is essential to acknowledge and release any thoughts or beliefs that may have constrained you and me in the past. By letting go of these limitations, we create space for divine love to flow through me and you, guiding us towards joy, harmony, and fulfillment.

Acknowledging that God is our source, let us intentionally turn to prayer to connect with God’s unlimited wellspring of love. In prayer, we immerse ourselves in the presence of the divine, allowing its essence to permeate every aspect of our being. With this newfound understanding, let us approach each day with a sense of wonder and anticipation, knowing that the possibilities are limitless.

“Let your steadfast love, O Lord be upon us, even as we hope in you.” Psalm 33:22
